Entry selection to the Upper School
Entrance to the Upper School of Scolaria Excellence requires the pupil to obtain a mention at the French Diplôme National du Brevet or equivalent qualification.
The mention ASSEZ-BIEN or equivalent is required for entrance to the Seconde Relais.
The mention BIEN or equivalent is required for direct entrance to the Seconde SES.
The mention TRES BIEN or equivalent is required for direct entrance to the Seconde Literary and Linguistic and to the Seconde Scientific.
Scolaria Excellence trains Upper School pupils exclusively with the aim of higher studies.
It is useless to consider that all the pupils of the same age will have the same level. Not only is this a mistake, but it also fails to take into consideration the individual needs of each pupil to achieve their personal aims.
As such, we offer a four year course for those pupils who are leaving the public sector and need time to consider their future. A catch-up seconde class, in the generalist field, is offered, followed by a three year course in the chosen specialisation: literary, scientific or economic.
For those pupils who have achieved excellent results and already have a clear vision of their future career, a three year course in the following subjects is offered:
- Scientific
- Literary and Linguistic
- Economic and Social Sciences
